Bruno Maric presented a paper at ICRA 2020 (Virtual Conference)

This year the 2020 International Conference on Robotics and Automation, ICRA 2020 is organized as a virtual conference with some live events. Although it is still ongoing (31 May-31 August 2020), LARICS member Bruno Maric has already sent in a video presentation of a paper titled “Collaborative Human-Robot Framework for Delicate Sanding of Complex Shape Surfaces“, co-authored by Matko Orsag and Alan Mutka. The video presentation and the paper are now available to all registered participants of ICRA 2020.

The experience of the human workers is exploited through the intuitive framework and applied to plan the trajectories for the robot. The paper discusses compliant control, trajectory planning and safety problem of such an approach.
